Our clientele consist mainly of: • Private non-industrial landowners Our Expertise...Our staff consists of degreed foresters with specialists in timber management, wildlife management, recreation area management, and real estate. Our owner, Tom Jenkins, has brought Forest Resources from its inception to a successful company with long term client relations. Tom is registered as a Certified Stewardship Forester through the Texas Forest Service, he is a Certified Forester through the Society of American Foresters, and is a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture. Tom is also a certified Texas Real Estate Broker.

As professional foresters we willingly abide by the code of ethics adopted by the Society of American Foresters and the Real Estate community. Our Associations...Our President, Thomas P. Jenkins is past president of the Brazos/Trinity Chapter of the Society of American Foresters. He is also an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. Forest Resources is a member of: Society of American Foresters, Texas Forestry Association, Exotic Wildlife Association, International Society of Arboriculture, and Houston Association of Realtors. We also work in conjunction with the Texas Forest Service to promote landowner awareness and education. We are certified to train teachers to use Project Learning Tree, a nationally recognized, award-winning environmental education program for children from kindergarten through twelfth grade. |
