Our Expertise

Our staff consists of degreed foresters with specialists in timber management, wildlife management, recreation area management, and real estate. Our owner, Tom Jenkins, has brought Jenkins Forest Resources LLC from its inception to a successful company with long-term client relations. Tom is registered as a Certified Stewardship Forester through the Texas Forest Service, he is a Certified Forester through the Society of American Foresters, and is a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture. Tom maintains a ISA Tree Risk Asssesment Qualification "TRAQ". Lastly, Tom is licensed as a Texas Real Estate Broker and is President of Jenkins Forest Resources LLC.

Our Associations

Our President, Thomas P. Jenkins is past president of the Brazos/Trinity Chapter of the Society of American Foresters. He is also an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.

Jenkins Forest Resources LLC is a member of the Society of American Foresters, Texas Forestry Association, Exotic Wildlife Association, Texas Wildlife Association, International Society of Arboriculture, and Houston Association of REALTORS®.

We also work in conjunction with the Texas Forest Service to promote landowner awareness and education. We are certified to train teachers to use Project Learning Tree, a nationally recognized, award-winning environmental education program for children from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
